Useful Korean : This & That

I will be doing these mini posts as I learn some parts of the Korean language If you find them useful then great :)
(bare in mind I have been learning for a few years, I will do some beginner posts in the future)

This.
That.
That (further away).

How?
Like this.
Like that.
Like that over there

Examples:
What's a good way to do it?/ How can I do this?

You can't do it like that.

I cannot read this difficult book.

I'm not that pretty. / I'm not as pretty as the person over there.

(Used when comparing someone/ something from a distance. In this case looking at someone else on the street and comparing yourself to her/him)

You can abbreviate these using tense markers ㄴ and ㄹ to form contractions:

어떻 + ㄴ = 어떤

Examples:
What do you think about this hairstyle?

What kind of hairstyle do you like?

I like that kind of hairstyle.

어떻 (exception, cannot be added with ㄹ)

These are slightly more difficult to master and are mainly used in an informal way.

Examples:
I can do this.

I can do that.

I can do that.
(When referring to something nearby)

Please feel free to correct me or add more examples in the comment section below :)
