Useful English: Family members

I will be doing these mini posts to help Koreans with some parts of the English language If you find them useful then great :) 

Family members have many names, this can vary from regions within the UK and from family to family. These examples are just some of the commonly used ones, some families have personal names that they call each other.

할머니 = Grandmother, Grandma, Gran, Granny, Nanny, Nan, Nanna

할아버지 = Grandfather, Grandpa, Pop, Pops

아버지/ 아빠 = Father, Dad, Daddy, Pappa, Pa

어머니/ 엄마 = Mother, Mum, Mummy, Mamma, Ma

언니/누나 = Sister, Sis, Big sister, Big sis, Older sister

여동생 = Sister, Sis, Little sister, Little sis, Younger sister

형/ 오빠 = Brother, Big brother, Bro, Big bro, Older brother

남동생 = Brother, Little brother, Bro, Little bro, Younger brother

삼촌 = Uncle

이모 = Aunty, Aunt

사촌 = Cousin, Cuz

보임 = Parents, Rents
