Things to do in London: Sky Garden

I'm going to post about some places in London I have been to before, but using old pictures ^^ I still recommend these places a lot, Sky garden gives you a great free view of the city and in the warmer months on days with clear skies is a great opportunity to get lovely photos.

Nearest tube: Monument
Price: Free entry with a ticket pre-booked online

One thing to note is that although Sky Garden is free you do need to book an entrance time slot ticket in order to gain access unless you have a booking at one of their restaurants :)

You get stunning views of buildings of the city below

The Shard is directly opposite
Tower bridge and the tower of london
Sky Garden is what it says, a garden in the sky... host to an array of plants and flowers

As you can see there are plenty of places to sit and grab a coffee or you can just walk around and take in the 360 degree views (also this is my friend 연서 I wasn't stalking her)

Here are some photos I took of an earlier visit when it was sunnier:

The infamous Gherkin building

The outside viewing balcony is the best place to get pictures when it's sunny because of the glare from the sunlight on the windows

I also had breakfast at the Sky pod bar there once, It was really reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere in the mornings (I didn't eat that all alone haha).

you can plan your free visit here https://skygarden.london/plan-your-visit
